1600-550 _ Cover

Somewhere amidst the noise, haste, and this chaos, I find myself standing still and lost in these thoughts. Takes about a few seconds and everything starts to fade, the people, the noise, the surroundings. And then I find myself taking a walk. Much balanced thoughts, with my mind at ease, seeking peace. No hurry, no duties, no pressure, just peace. Peace and happiness, all within myself. A small Getaway, almost real. And right when I think I am about to reach what I am looking for, I have to reluctantly step out of this vision, and get back. Get back to reality, and chase it’s significance, to find the meaning of all this, seeking peace, seeking shelter.

Three years ago, Razzle Dazzle Pickle came into existence through an Outfit Post. Even though I’d been writing and posting on the blog before that, it was always hidden and very personal. A journal for my thoughts and ideas. It took me quite a bit of time & even more courage to make it public, but doing that was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Its been quite a journey since then with everything that led up to this moment. Its hard to put moments into words or even pictures, but it got easier to express as time passed. Now, it’s an inseparable part of my life & identity. Even if no one reads it, I’d continue to paint my thoughts on the same canvas I created. Its become my own personal outlet to vent, express and emote where many of you share the same experience, perhaps in different moments of time. Thanks to each one of you for the incredible love and support.

Wearing this gorgeous white dress from Turquoise and Gold‘s Spring Summer Collection. Letting my hair down, I decided to take a walk amidst the dense trees, and feel the early morning breeze play with this sheer dress and my hair, and of course my mind. Finally made a few Septum Cuffs, something that I have been obsessed with for a bit now.

Okay, that’s not it. Here is a little something for you lovely readers, a small token of love. A giveaway, hosted by Turquoise and Gold on the occasion of Razzle Dazzle Pickle’s third year anniversary. Two winners get to win Turquoise and Gold Sarongs, beautiful printed Sarongs, just perfect for that beach walk during that holiday you have in your mind. Just tell me your favorite beach look and a song/track that you would listen to while donning the same. Paint a picture in your mind, and share the same with me. Comment below this post with your e-mail id, and your answer. The contest will be on for a week and will close on the 8th of May 2015. Winners will be announced shortly after that.

Wishing you love and luck.

for me, a perfecf shear burgundy shirt dress lazed out on a beach, with manali trance in my head and away from the tease towards the breeze, geting hang of what, where am i not really but where the trip takes me for its YOLO and a no big deal to crack a solo girl’s wheel.

Hey, congrats on the third anniversary! And no one can rock septum cuff as good as you. My favourite beach look would be natural messy hair, a short cotton dress and a cover up. And my all time favourite beach song is ‘what a wonderful world’ – that’s what beaches do to me, they convince me that it is okay, and it will be okay!

I find a white + lace dress perfect for a day at the beach. I admire the how the blue sea and sky contrast with the white. I find it refreshing to also wear minimal makeup while soaking up the sun. Maybe a tab of SPF BB cream. The top song on play list for the beach is, “Peaches” by The Valley Bellow.

A perfect beach outfit for me would be a white smock top with denim shorts and cute bow plastic slippers (for off sand walking). I would accessorise the look with just a hat. And while I am walking on the soft sand and leaving my footprints behind me I would be listening to “two steps behind” by Def Leppard. :)

    Hey Ritu !

Lovely post it is, and so connecting. I read this post, looked at the pictures and I imagined myself to amidst the woods. Well you asked here for the beach look, So my pick from the closet would be, A Maxi Beach Dress of Soft-touch, lightweight cheesecloth, deep V-neckline may be with some Printed design, Split sides hem and Relaxed fit with a pair of glittered comfort flip flops. And yes of course with my favorite round black sunglasses.

For this picture nothing is running on my mind except Bill Withers’s “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone” .

“Wonder this time where she’s gone
Wonder if she’s gone to stay
Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone
And this house just ain’t no home
    Anytime she goes away.”

Did someone say ‘beach’?! I imagine myself in a short lace dress with a cooling drink in hand, head chain in my hair and The Bleachers’ ‘Rollercoaster’ playing as the sun sets and the waves lap at my feet.

Congratulations on 3 years of outstanding work on Razzle Dazzle Pickle!
